Camburger Straße (footpath/cycle path)

• Type: Full closure of the footpath/cycle path
• Location: between the junction with Leipziger Straße and the Friedrich-Wolf-Straße access road

• Details: Pedestrians and cyclists will be diverted via Fritz-Kalisch-Straße

2x Dornburger Straße

• Type: Various closures
• Location: House number 6
• Start: 19.06.2024
• Reason: New house construction
• Detail: Until 31.10.2025, a one-way regulation has been set up in the area of Dornburger Straße 6 (half-sided closure, direction of travel into town). The restricted area will be used for loading and unloading and for setting up the construction site. Out-of-town traffic will be diverted via Spitzweidenweg and Nollendorfer Straße.

• Reason: Reconstruction of the streetcar stop incl. renewal of the road surface
• Details: A one-way street regulation applies into the city. Out of town, the detour is via Camburger Straße/ Scharnhorststraße.

Ernst-Abbe-Platz

• Reason: Construction work in the track area
• Details: Crossing facilities for pedestrians will be set up.

Ernst-Thälmann-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: between house number 1 and Bärengasse
• Duration: until 30.10.2025
• Reason: Line extension
• Details: The measure will be carried out in two construction phases. The access roads "Am Johannisberg" and "Am Alten Schloss" will remain accessible for residents.

Friedrich-Engels-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 15.09.2025
• Reason: Pipe laying
• Details: In the direction of Ziegenhain, traffic will be diverted via Leo-Sachse-Straße and Haydnstraße. In the direction of the city center, traffic will be diverted via Kernbergstraße and Am Kochersgraben. Both roads are one-way streets during the construction phase.

Forstweg

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: between house numbers 14 - 25
• Duration: until 20.12.2026
• Reason: Replacement construction of the bridge
• Details: The road will only be accessible from both directions up to the bridge. Depending on the construction work, there may also be parking and stopping restrictions. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be built. Until this is completed, pedestrian traffic will be routed alternately over the bridge to be replaced.

Isserstedter Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: from house number 21 to the junction with Zum Ziskauer Tal
• Duration: The work in the entire district of Lützeroda will last until the end of 2025
• Reason: Fundamental road expansion
• Details: The detour will be signposted.

Church square

• Type: Traffic restrictions
• Location: Around the town church
• Duration: probably until 15.08.2025
• Reason: extensive construction work
• Details: Access to the town church and the stores will be guaranteed during the entire construction period. From 05.05.2025, signs from the direction of Saalstraße and Höhe Oberbank will indicate this separately. Saalstraße will continue to be fully closed to transit/delivery traffic. Cyclists may only pass through the restricted area by pushing bicycles. Bicycles may not be parked on the sidewalk or in the construction area.
• Leveling work and paving work is currently being carried out in front of the town church. The archaeological excavations behind the town church are progressing so that the construction of the stairs can begin in the coming weeks.

Lessingstrasse

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: between Fröbelstieg and Max-Wien-Platz
• Duration: until 31.12.2025
• Reason: Civil engineering work and construction site transportation
• Details: The construction site can be bypassed via Helmholtzweg.

Lobeda-Altstadt

• Type: Temporary closures
• Duration: until 30.06.2025
• Reason: Fiber optic expansion

Löbdergraben

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: between Paradiesstraße and Ludwig-Weimar-Gasse
• Duration: until 01.08.2025
• Reason: Conversion work at the "Löbdergraben" stop
• Details: In the above-mentioned area, a one-way street regulation applies in the direction of Holzmarkt. At the Löbdergraben junction at the level of the Roter Turm, it is only possible to turn right in the direction of Stadtrodaer Straße.

Lützowstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: House number 14 to Mühlenstraße
• Duration: until 31.07.2025
• Reason: Connection of a transformer station
• Details: Traffic will be regulated as a one-way system: The exit from Lichtenhain is via Wildenbruchstraße, the entrance via Ammerbacher Oberweg. The detour route has no weight restrictions and is therefore also open to HGV traffic.

Lutherstraße

• Type: Half-sided closure
• Location: At house number 149
• Duration: until 30.07.2025
• Reason: Civil engineering works + material deposits
• Details: Out of town, the half-sided closure can be bypassed. Inbound traffic will be diverted via Herderstraße / Sickingenstraße. The closure can also be bypassed via Erfurter Straße.

Moritz-von-Rohr-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: Corner of Lichtenhainer Straße
• Duration: until 25.07.2025
• Reason: District heating installation
• Details: Traffic will be diverted via Carl-Zeiss-Promenade and Lichtenhainer Straße. Resident traffic is permitted up to the construction site.

Mühlenstraße / Lützowstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 30.06.2025
• Reason: Civil engineering works
• Details: The detour leads via Lichtenhainer Oberweg. A mobile traffic light regulates the traffic.

Ritzetal and Berthold-Delbrück-Straße

• Type: Complete closure
• Duration: until 31.12.2025
• Reason: Work on the supply and disposal lines
• Details: The detour is via Am Steinborn and Eugen-Diederich-Straße. Bus traffic will also be diverted via Am Steinborn and Löbichauer Straße.

Schroeterstraße

• Type: Complete closure
• Location: from Strigelstraße to Forstweg
• Duration: until 31.07.2025
• Reason: Fundamental road expansion
• Details: During the construction period there is no connection to Katharinenstraße.

Wiesenstraße, traffic circle

• Duration: until 29.11.2025
• Reason: fundamental redesign
• Details: Access to Kunitz and the adjacent industrial estate is only possible via Brückenstraße, but not via Wiesenstraße. A wide detour is signposted via Am Anger - Dornburger Straße - Camburger Straße. An emergency sidewalk to Kunitz and in the direction of Naumburger Straße leads past the construction site.
• Addition: From 23.06. to 08.07.2025, access to Kunitz will be via the traffic circle and into town via Wiesenstraße. The industrial estate will be connected by a single lane with traffic lights.
• From 09.07. to 20.12.2025, Brückenstraße will be fully closed from the traffic circle to the tracks.
